Defect unit

I've been using my PE for a while now.

My PE has been in my bag for a while.

2 day ago i wanted to do a simple link test.

When powering on the PE the LED was red.
i charged the PE and seamed to be ok.

Now i just performed a link test but the PE doesn't seem to be able to do that anymore.
I used the same UTP cable with a laptop on the same switchport to test, the link came up and i had network link.

So my PE seams to have issues when needed to use Link.
Also the BER test isn't working, the App gives the message if the Loopback adapter is connected, i did connect the loopback adapter.

The wiremap test is working without issues.

I performed a reset, didn't help.
I updated the firmware again to v29, which i was already using.

i suspect to have a , partly, defected unit  :(

So you did the full hard reset? Mine got pretty hot once during usage, and I had to let it cool down. I think Jeroen can help. He is a developer/moderator of PE. His email is jboxtel at pockethernet dot com.

Hope he can help you out, as he was amazing to help me with mine!
