Title: Add IP Scan to PocketEthenet
Post by: jmvelez on December 14, 2017, 10:51:06 PM
A useful feature to pocketethernet is to be able to scan devices on the LAN.  Also for security purpose some network runs without DHCP.  It would be useful to have a fix IP option on the device

Functionality Like FING for android would be great.. the issue with Fing is that I have to ask Customer for WiFi Details, or... I end up getting laptop out to use NMAP on Ethernet manually.

I would really like to have this feature implemented since I frequently work with DHCP disabled devices.

Should not be a real problem to implement for your app developers, since there are quite some GitHub repo’s available with an MIT license that can be added to the source project.
