Unable to check DHCP when on 10/100 network
« on: November 01, 2016, 06:54:16 PM »
When I connect to a port which has only 2 connected pairs (classic style before GbE was really huge), it does the link test and takes a few seconds before defaulting to 100mb since GbE is not available without all 4 pairs. It then doesn't try the DHCP because it took so long to connect in the first place.

When I connect directly to any GbE enabled port, DHCP has no issue because the link is detected immediately.
